Wrestling Team Defeats Ohio Northern, 28-12

ADA, Ohio -- The Olivet College wrestling team defeated Ohio Northern University, 28-12, today in a dual match at the ONU Field House.
Leading the way for the Fighting Comets was sophomore heavyweight Ryan Tiseo (Washington Romeo High School), who pinned his opponent in 1:47. Freshman 165-pounder Mike Andrews (Swartz Creek High School) won by technical fall in 4:23. Both freshman 125-pounder Joe Suchowolec (Sand Lake/Grant High School) and freshman 184-pounder Ryan Newberry (South Haven High School) won by major decision.
In addition, senior 149-pounder Chris Dunham (Nashville/ Maple Valley High School), freshman 157-pounder Ken Andrews (Swartz Creek High School) and freshman 197-pounder Justin Torres (Holly High School) all won by decision. Torres defeated Jeremy Kosch, 6-5. Kosch was ranked sixth in the latest Adidas/Brute Division III national rankings.
Olivet will next wrestle on Saturday, Mar. 1 when it travels to University Circle, Ohio to participate in the NCAA Division III National Regional Meet at Case Western Reserve University.
