MANHEIM, Pa. – Eight Olivet College wrestlers have earned 2021 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-American honors. The honorees are junior Dylan Briggs, sophomore Owen Guilford, senior Adam Hall, senior Cameron Mahlich, junior Hunter Murphy, junior Reese Wallis, sophomore Zach Wells and junior Dominick Wilson.

CORALVILLE, Iowa – The Olivet College wrestling team competed today in the first day of the 2021 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III Championships at the Xtreme Arena. Team scores are not being kept. Highlighting day one action was junior Dominick Wilson and sophomore Zach Wells advancing to day two, and securing NWCA All-American honors.

ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College wrestling team won the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship in dominating fashion. The Comets defeated Alma, 35-9; Adrian College, 33-9; and Trine (Ind.) University, 37-9. Olivet won 23-of-30 bouts, and scored bonus points in 17 of the victories.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College wrestling team hosted a non-conference triangular inside the Cutler Event Center in Olivet. The Comets fell to Augsburg (Minn.) University, 30-12. All of the remaining matches during the event were exhibitions against the Auggies and Alma College.

FREELAND, Mich. – Seven Olivet College wrestlers have been named to the 2021 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) team. The honorees are senior Cameron Mahlich, junior Reese Wallis, freshman Dylan Phelps, sophomore Hunter Murphy, sophomore Owen Guilford, senior Trevor Piggott and sophomore Dominick Wilson.

Seven champions lead wrestling team at MIAA Individual Championships

OLIVET, Mich. – Seven Olivet College wrestlers won their respective weight class at the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Individual Championships, hosted by the Comets today inside the Cutler Event Center. In addition, four more Olivet wrestlers were finalists and finished second in their weight class. The 11 total finalists and seven champions were the most for one MIAA school. The seven champions will represent Olivet on the 2021 All-MIAA teams.
