Six Olivet wrestlers take first at MCC Ben McMullen Open

MUSKEGON, Mich. – Six wrestlers from The University of Olivet captured first-place and nine others placed in the top four of their respective weight class at the Muskegon Community College Ben McMullen Open. The open tournament was unscored.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Weight class champions were senior Benyamin Kamali at 125 pounds, senior Emmett Kettel at 133 pounds, senior Dylan Phelps at 141 pounds, sophomore Aden Baynes at 149 pounds, senior Ramiro Guerrero at 157 pounds and senior Jay Shaull at 174 pounds.
- Placing second were junior Darren McLeod at 157 pounds, sophomore Kyan Larson at 165 pounds, freshman Jack Ward at 197 pounds and sophomore Mason Knight at 285 pounds.
- Taking third were freshman Julian Terranova at 149 pounds and sophomore Juwan Vines at 174 pounds.
- Finishing fourth were senior Stuart Donlan at 141 pounds, freshman Rylinn Hale at 157 pounds and freshman Isaiah Brown at 184 pounds.
