Women’s soccer team loses home game to Adrian, 3-0
The Olivet College women’s soccer team lost a 3-0 decision to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) foe Adrian College this afternoon on a cold, rainy day at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.

The Olivet College women's soccer team lost a 3-0 decision to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) foe Adrian College this afternoon on a cold, rainy day at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.
Adrian led 1-0 at halftime behind a goal by Lindsay Chitwood in the 35th minute. In the second half, the Bulldogs scored back-to-back goals in a span of 87 seconds. Lauren Cozzi headed the ball into the goal, and Patti Vaassen dented the net for the second goal.
Olivet was held to just eight shots to 20 for the Bulldogs. Sophomore Lizzy Julian (Mattawan) had three shots, two on-gaol, for the Comets. Five other players each took one shot apiece. Junior keeper Megan Colby (Sparta/Cedar Springs) played the entire game and made five saves.
The Comets will host Saint Mary's (Ind.) College next Wednesday at 4 p.m.
