Women’s soccer team stung by Kalamazoo, 4-0
The Olivet College women’s soccer team suffered a 4-0 loss to Kalamazoo College tonight under the lights at Mackenzie Field in Kalamazoo.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Olivet College women's soccer team suffered a 4-0 loss to Kalamazoo College tonight under the lights at Mackenzie Field in Kalamazoo.
Rachel Dandar scored the only goal the Hornets would need in the 34th minute. Olivet finished the half with three shots, while Kalamazoo had six. The Hornets put the game out of reach by scoring two goals in a span of three minutes and seven seconds early in the second half. Kalamazoo capped its scoring with a goal in the 79th minute.
The Comets recorded five shots in the game. Freshman Nicole Borek (Holt) had two of the shots. Freshman Deanna Zolnoski (Macomb/Henry Ford II) was the goalie for all 90 minutes and made two saves, while facing 15 shots.
Olivet will conclude its 2012 campaign with two home games later this week. The Comets will host Trine (Ind.) University Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m., and then Adrian College visits the Cutler Athletic Complex Saturday for a noon game.
