UOlivet defeated by Earlham

OLIVET, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's soccer team was on the losing end of a 5-0 final score to Earlham (Ind.) College on a rainy afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Quakers scored their first goal 66 seconds into the contest.
• Earlham added a second goal with around five minutes left until halftime.
• The Quakers doubled their lead with a pair of goals in a span of just under three minutes. The first came in the 53rd minute and the second was in the 56th minute.
• Earlham netted its final goal in the 64th minute.

FOR THE COMETS

• Olivet finished the game with six shots, including two for junior midfielder Taylor Facca.
• Junior Airanna Griecci was in goal for the entire first half and made eight saves.
• Freshman Natalie Rose played the second half in goal and had three saves.

UP NEXT

• Olivet is on the road Saturday to play Hiram (Ohio) College. The first touch is at 3:30 p.m. The game is a part of a soccer doubleheader, as the Comet men also play the Terriers preceding the women's game.
