Lingbeek fails to make finals of 200 back
Olivet College’s Jill Lingbeek (Plainwell) failed to make the finals of the 200-yard backstroke today at the 2006 NCAA Division III National Swimming Championships, which were contested at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.

Lingbeek's time of 2:10.48 during the preliminaries placed her 26th of 34 swimmers entered in the event.
Yesterday, Lingbeek earned All-American honors with a seventh-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 58.91 seconds and eighth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly at 58.13 seconds. At the 2005 NCAA Division III National Championships, she was an honorable mention All-American in these two events.
