The Olivet College women's swimming and diving team finished in fourth-place at the 2007 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships. The Comets had 254 points, which was only 36 points behind third-place Kalamazoo College. Calvin College won the championship with 675.5 points, followed by Hope College with 493.5 points.
The Olivet College women’s swimming and diving team moved up one spot and now stands in fourth-place at the 2007 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships. The Comets have 166.5 points and trail Kalamazoo College by 30.5 points. Defending champion Calvin College is first with 454.5 points.
The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming teams swept the team titles today at the North Central (Ill.) College Invitational, which was held at the Naperville Central High School. The men were first of six schools and tallied 558 points to beat Wheaton (Ill.) College by 144 points. The women were first of eight schools with 473.5 points, which was 92.5 points more than second-place Wheaton.
The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams participated in the 2006 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Relays at Jenison High School. There were eight relays for each gender and the meet was unscored.
