Bio
La Porta was involved in four sports while attending Hamilton HS including Cross Country (1), Track & Field (2), Swimming & Diving (3), and Tennis (1). La Porta's HS accomplishments included 2006-07 Hamilton State Qualifier Award, 2007-08 Hamilton State Qualifier Award, 2007-08 Holland Sentinel Newspaper Swimmer of the Week, 200 Freestyle Relay State Champion, 4th Place DIII Team State Finals, two time Conference Champions, All-State, Academic Team All-State, All-County (twice), All-Conference (twice), 2nd Team Holland Sentinel All-Area, and Student of the Month.
At Olivet College, La Porta accomplished the 2009 DIII National "B" Cut Qualifying time for the 200 Freestyle Relay. She is involved on campus with the Comet Christian Fellowship, Photography Club, Helping Hands, and Art Alliance. La Porta is majoring in Visual Arts with a Business Arts & Commercial Design Concentration. She enjoys reading, photography, and playing tennis in her free time. Her favorite athlete is Rafael Nadal.
