Women’s swimming & diving team splits non-conference double dual meet

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's swimming & diving team hosted Aquinas College and Bethel (Ind.) University for a non-conference double dual meet today at the Upton Center Pool. The Comets defeated Aquinas, 116-98, but fell to Bethel, 180-74.

• Sophomore Jennifer Mann took first-place in each of her three individual events – 32.53 seconds in the 50-yard breaststroke, 1:09.40 in the 100-yard breaststroke and 2:17.94 in the 200-yard individual medley.
• Senior Kayla Eichaker touched first in the 50-yard butterfly in 28.05 seconds.
• Sophomore Kinsley Noel finished second in three freestyle events – 27.24 seconds in the 50, 5:54.88 in the 100 and 12:13.55 in the 1,000.
• The 200-yard medley relay quartet of freshman Jordan Kruskie, Mann, Eichaker and junior Kennedy Karns was second in 2:01.21.

• The Comets resume their Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association schedule next Saturday, January 22, when they welcome Calvin University to the Upton Center Pool. First event starts at 1 p.m.
