Women’s Swimming and Diving: Olivet sweeps double dual at Anderson

ANDERSON, Ind. – The University of Olivet women's swimming and diving teams swept a non-conference double dual tonight inside Anderson (Ind.) University's Bennett Natatorium. The Comets defeated the host Ravens, 112-89, and Manchester (Ind.) University, 108-86.

• Senior Jennifer Mann won each of her three events – 200-yard individual medley (2:19.12), 100-yard butterfly (1:02.82) and 500-yard freestyle (5:39.86).
• Freshman Nadia Schnitzel swept the one-meter diving competition – scoring 119.65 points in the first round and 107.90 points in the second round.
• Sophomore Kelsee Lawson finished first in the 1,000-yard freestyle (12:42.73) and third in both the 200-yard freestyle (2:24.01) and 100-yard butterfly (1:16.98).
• Freshman Sophia Spahr took first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:13.90), second in the 500-yard freestyle (6:06.50) and third in the 100-yard backstroke (1:10.52).
• Junior Mya Kinnunen was second in the 100-yard backstroke (1:08.91) and third in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:22.72).
• Sophomore Bridgette Shroll posted runner-up finishes in the 100-yard freestyle (1:01.43) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:16.72).

• Olivet competes at the 2023 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Relays next Friday, October 20. The relays are at Calvin University's Venema Aquatic Center and get under way at 5 p.m.
