Lady Comet Tennis Team Falls to Tiffin, 9-0, in its Home Opener

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The Olivet College women's tennis team fell to NAIA foe Tiffin University, 9-0, yesterday in its home opener at the Michigan State University Indoor Facility.
Freshmen Stephanie Reed (Holt High School), Stacey Way (Escanaba High School) and sophomore Jennifer Rust (Eaton Rapids High School) made their collegiate tennis debut at No. 1-No. 3 singles, respectively.
Sophomore Heather Boultinghouse (Greenville High School), senior Dustin Slivensky (Charlotte High School) and senior Laura Fitch (Grand Rapids/East Kentwood High School) played No. 4-No. 6 singles, respectively.
Both the #1 doubles tandem -- Reed and Way -- and #2 doubles tandem -- Rust and Boultinghouse, lost an 8-0 pro-set match. The #3 doubles tandem of Fitch and Slivensky fell 8-3.
