Women's Tennis Team Falls To Saint Mary's, 9-0
The Olivet College women's tennis team fell to Saint Mary's College of Indiana, 9-0, today in its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association opener at the University of Notre Dame Indoor Facility. The match was moved indoors because of the weather.
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Olivet College women's tennis team fell to Saint Mary's College of Indiana, 9-0, today in its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association opener at the University of Notre Dame Indoor Facility. The match was moved indoors because of the weather.
"The ladies played extremely hard against a very good team," said second-year Head Coach Mary Anne McMullen. "Saint Mary's is one of the top teams in the MIAA."
The Lady Comets will resume MIAA play on Monday, March 31, when they host Hope College at 3 p.m. All home matches are played at the Michigan State Indoor Tennis Facility in East Lansing.
