Women’s tennis team loses to NCAA Division II foe Ashland (Ohio), 7-2

The women's tennis team fell to NCAA Division II foe Ashland (Ohio) University, 7-2, at the Port Royal Racquet Club in Hilton Head, S.C.

Sophomore Rachel Vilums (Hudsonville) won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles for the Lady Comets (2-1). The No. 3 doubles tandem of sophomore Danielle Post (Marshall) and Stephanie Pott (Kalamazoo/Mattawan) picked-up an 8-5 pro-set victory.

Olivet continues its Spring Break trip with two matches tomorrow. At 8 a.m., the Comets will play Eastern Mennonite (Va.) University and at 2 p.m., they will play Baldwin-Wallace (Ohio) College.
