Women’s tennis team falls to Albion, 9-0
Playing its first match in nearly two weeks, the Olivet College women’s tennis team was defeated by Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College, 9-0, this afternoon inside the Ungrodt Tennis Center in Albion.

The Britons (8-0, 3-0 MIAA), who shared the 2007 league title with Kalamazoo, won all six singles matches in straight sets. Albion also claimed pro-set victories in the three doubles flights.
The Comets (1-6, 0-2 MIAA) return to the courts next Tuesday, April 1, when they host Saint Mary's (Ind.) College in their home-opener. The match at the Michigan State University Indoor Tennis Facility gets under way at 4 p.m.
