Women’s tennis team celebrates first winning season
The Olivet College women’s tennis team celebrated its 9-8 season with a banquet Sunday, May 2, at the Oaks Dining Hall in Olivet. The 9-8 record marks the first winning season in school history.
The Olivet College women's tennis team celebrated its 9-8 season with a banquet Sunday, May 2, at the Oaks Dining Hall in Olivet. The 9-8 record marks the first winning season in school history.
As part of the celebration, the team awards were handed out for the 2010 season. Freshman Caitlin LaValley (Battle Creek/Pennfield) was named the Most Valuable Player. Sophomores Paige Sedgewick (Lennon/Powers Catholic) and Kelsey Singer (Brooklyn/Columbia Central) shared the Comet Award. Sophomore Jenna Baker (Battle Creek/Harper Creek) was the recipient of the Most Improved Player award.
