Women’s tennis ends home slate with 8-1 loss to Calvin
The Olivet College women’s tennis was defeated by Calvin College, 8-1, in its final home match of the season today at the Minges Creek Athletic Club in Battle Creek.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis was defeated by Calvin College, 8-1, in its final home match of the season today at the Minges Creek Athletic Club in Battle Creek.
Playing her final home collegiate match, senior Caitlin LaValley won in straight sets, 6-1 and 6-3, at No. 1 singles. She also teamed with junior Jennifer Lightner for a close 9-7 loss at No. 1 doubles.
The Comets will conclude their 2013 campaign tomorrow when they play an 11 a.m. match at Adrian College.
