Women’s tennis team loses 6-3 at Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team lost 6-3 to Adrian College today at the Craft Tennis Complex in Adrian.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Bulldogs earned wins in 2-of-3 doubles flights and 4-of-6 singles flights for the 6-3 win. 

FOR THE COMETS

• In doubles, the No. 1 duo of juniors Maddy Drikakis and BreAnne Rudlaff posted an 8-6 pro-set victory.
• Rudlaff also won in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 2 singles.
• Playing in the singles lineup for only the second time this season, sophomore Amanda Gruszka rallied for a win the No. 6 slot. After dropping the first set 6-4, she won the second set 6-4 to force a super tie-breaker which she won 10-5.

UP NEXT                         

• The Comets end their season tomorrow with a 1 p.m. match against Trine (Ind.) University. Weather permitting, the match will be played at Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek.
