OLIVET, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's tennis suffered a 5-2 loss to Indiana University-Southeast in its home-and season-opening match today at the Tom Kolassa Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The scoring rules for NCAA tennis were changed this year. The school who wins two of the three doubles flights earns one team point. The Grenadiers swept the three doubles flights for the first team points. Indiana-Southeast won 4-of-6 singles flights to win the match, 5-2.
FOR THE COMETS
- Sophomore Kayden Alli was the first Olivet player to win, as she posted a 6-4, 7-5 victory at No. 4 singles.
- At No. 1 singles, sophomore Rylee Lewis won a marathon match. She won the first set, 7-5, but lost the second set on a tiebreaker, 7-6 (5). In the match tiebreaker, Lewis prevailed 11-9.
