BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's tennis team shutout Grace Christian University, 7-0, today indoors at the Minges Creek Athletic Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets won two of the three doubles flights to record the first team point.
- Olivet then swept the six singles flights in straight sets for the 7-0 win.
FOR THE COMETS
- At No. 1 doubles, freshman Amelia Girard and sophomore Rylee Lewis won 6-4.
- At No. 2 doubles, sophomores Kayden Alli and Madison Golden coasted to a 6-1 win.
- Lewis picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles.
- Girard at No. 2 singles, Alli at No. 3 singles and senior Amelia Guerra at No. 6 singles each won by matching 6-1, 6-0 scores.
- Golden recorded a 6-4, 6-4 victory at No. 4 singles.
- Freshman Willow Evans claimed a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles.
UP NEXT
- The Comets are now idle until their spring break trip. Olivet's first match is Sunday, March 9, against the University of Ozarks (Ark.). The match will take place at Blue Mountain Christian University (BMCU) in Blue Mountain, Mississippi, and start at 10 a.m. In the afternoon at 2 p.m., the Comets will play BMCU.
