NEW ALBANY, Miss. – The University of Olivet women's tennis team began its spring break trip to the south by losing 7-0 matches to the University of the Ozarks (Ark.) and Blue Mountain Christian (Miss.) University today at the BNA Tennis & Pickleball Club.
THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED VS. OZARKS
- The Eagles claimed wins in each of the three doubles flights and won all six singles flights in straight sets.
FOR THE COMETS VS. OZARKS
- Freshman Amelia Girard battled in a 7-5, 7-5 loss at No. 2 singles.
- Sophomore Rylee Lewis fell 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles.
- At No. 3 singles, sophomore Kayden Alli lost the first set, 6-1 but fought hard in a tough 7-5 defeat in the second set.
HOW IT HAPPENED VS. BLUE MOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN
- Blue Mountain Christian claimed wins in the three doubles flights and then swept all of the singles flights in straight sets.
- The Lady Toppers lost only 10 total games among the nine flights.
FOR THE COMETS VS. BLUE MOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN
- Freshman Willow Evans suffered a 6-0, 6-3 loss at No. 5 singles.
- Senior Amelia Guerra was the only Olivet player to win at least one game in each set, as she fell 6-2, 6-1, at No. 6 singles.

- Olivet heads to Henderson, Tennessee, to play Freed-Hardeman University tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET. The match will be held at Chester County High School.
