UOlivet competes at Hillsdale Wide Track Classic

HILLSDALE, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's indoor track and field team competed at the Wide Track Classic, hosted by Hillsdale College.
FOR THE COMETS
- Senior Emily Norkowski had Olivet's top finish, as she was seventh in the 60-meter hurdles (9.64). She had a faster time in the preliminaries at 9.55 seconds.
- Also on the track, senior London Eldridge ran a season-best time in the 60-meter dash (8.54).
- Recording season-best marks in the field events were:
- Sophomore Ellie Baynes in the long jump (14 feet, 4 inches). The mark is 10th in school history.
- Freshman Kelah Hodge in the pole vault (8 feet, 6-1/4 inches). The mark ranks fifth all-time at Olivet.
- Freshman Lily Russell in the weight throw (39 feet, 6 inches). The mark is also 10th in school history.
- Freshman Jaelah Sloan in the long jump (14 feet, 9-1/4 inches)
- Freshman Morgan Whitten in the weight throw (34 feet, 1-1/2 inches)

- Olivet participates in the Saginaw Valley State University / Jet's Pizza Invitational next Friday and Saturday, January 31-February 1.
