UOlivet’s Connelly named to 2026 All-MIAA Women's Outdoor Track & Field team

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The University of Olivet juniors Aubrey Connelly has been selected to the 2026 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Second Team for outdoor track & field.

At the 2026 MIAA Field Day, Connelly finished second in the javelin throw, with a 107 foot and 8-inch toss. She also placed sixth in the 100-meter hurdles (1:10.57).

"Aubrey has made a big jump this year in understanding the javelin, and it showed the last few weeks before the MIAA meet and then at the MIAA Field Day," said Olivet head coach Karen Lutzke. "She is a versatile athlete who enjoys competing in different events. It was rewarding to see Aubrey perform well, as she works hard and takes constructive feedback from (Throws) Coach (Daustin) Martin and translates it into better performances in the javelin."

Connelly is now a two-time all-conference honoree. She also earned second-team honors last year after running a leg of the runner-up 4x400-meter relay.
