Volleyball team bows out of MIAA Tournament with three-game loss at Albion
The Olivet College volleyball team ended its season with a three-game loss (30-22, 30-21, 30-14) to Albion College tonight in the play-in match of the 2006 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament. Albion advances to play at No. 1 seed Calvin College tomorrow night.

Sophomores Mackenzie Heator (Union City) and Kim Travis (Shepherd) each had seven kills, while freshmen Jennie Malm (Bridgman) and Emily McClure (Athens) recorded five kills a piece. Travis was the top hitter with only three attack errors in 21 attempts for a .190 hitting percentage. Malm led the Comet defense with 12 digs. Junior Jessica Petkus (Milford) collected 13 set assists to go along with nine digs.
