Volleyball team falls to Trine in four sets
The Olivet College volleyball team fell to Trine University in four sets tonight at Hershey Hall in Angola, Indiana. The Comets won the first set 25-20 before the Thunder rallied to win the next three sets 25-16, 25-11 and 25-13.

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College volleyball team fell to Trine (Ind.) University in four sets tonight at Hershey Hall in Angola, Indiana. The Comets won the first set 25-20 before the Thunder rallied to win the next three sets 25-16, 25-11 and 25-13.
Sophomore Tina Westendorp (Nashville/Maple Valley) led Olivet's front row with 10 kills. She also served two aces. Freshman Emma Brann (Ann Arbor/Pioneer) was next with eight kills. Freshman Taylor Pringle (Haslett) dished out a team-high 12 assists, while senior Lacee Boone (Otsego) had 11 assists. Sophomore Kaitlyn Salhaney (Caledonia/East Kentwood) topped the defense with 18 digs.
The Comets will end their season tomorrow when they host Hope College. First serve inside The Cutler Event Center is 6 p.m.
