Women’s volleyball team splits two non-conference matches at Kalamazoo Triangular
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s volleyball team split two non-conference matches this evening at the Kalamazoo College Triangular, and inside the Anderson Athletic Center. After losing in four sets to the host Hornets, the Comets bounced back to beat Grace Christian University in four sets.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Olivet College women's volleyball team split two non-conference matches this evening at the Kalamazoo College Triangular, and inside the Anderson Athletic Center. After losing in four sets to the host Hornets, the Comets bounced back to beat Grace Christian University in four sets.
Final Score: Kalamazoo defeated Olivet 25-21, 11-25, 25-20, 26-24

Records: Olivet 3-3 overall, Kalamazoo 1-3 overall
- Junior Ellie Louiselle led Olivet with 11 kills.
- Sophomore Olivia DuFore recorded nine kills.
- Sophomore Morgan Dillon had eight kills and posted a .316 attack percentage.
- Freshman Madison Johnson dished out 20 assists.
- Senior Drue Mullin collected a team-best 19 digs.

- For the match, Olivet posted a .105 attack percentage compared to .074 for the Tigers. The Comets also had a 14-1 advantage in service aces.
- DuFore posted a double-double, with a team-best 14 kills to go along with 16 digs.
- Freshman Olive Kinjorski reached double digit kills with 11.
- Junior Kennedy Blackburn and Johnson split time at the setter position, dishing out 23 and 21 assists, respectively.
- Blackburn served a match-high five aces.
- Junior Jill Arends finished with a team-best 17 digs.
- The Comets travel to Sandusky, Ohio, Friday and Saturday to participate in the "Battle at the Point," a cross-over tournament between the nine Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association schools and the nine North Coast Athletic Conference schools. On Friday afternoon, Olivet faces Oberlin (Ohio) College at 5 p.m. On Saturday, the Comets play Kenyon (Ohio) College at 12:30 p.m., followed by a match against Allegheny (Pa.) College. All matches will take place at the Cedar Point Sports Force Park.
