UOlivet cross country teams selected to USFCCCA All-Academic team

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Olivet men's and women's cross country teams have been named to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team for the 2024 fall semester.

To be eligible for this honor, the team must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.1 or higher on a 4.0 scale, including the most recently completed grading period. Under the guidance of head coach Karen Lutzke, the UOlivet women have a 3.67 cumulative GPA, and the Comet men have a 3.40 cumulative GPA. The UOlivet women are recipients of this award for the 13th time in the last 14 years, while the men have received the award 12 of the last 14 years.

In 2024, the USTFCCCA honored 198 men's teams and 221 women's teams in NCAA Division III. Eight of the nine women's programs and seven men's programs from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) are receiving this recognition.
