The Olivet College baseball team split a doubleheader with Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Hope College this afternoon at Buys Field in Holland. The Comets won the first game, 1-0, and the Flying Dutchmen took the nightcap, 7-0. With the split, Hope clinched an outright MIAA championship.

The Olivet College baseball team split a doubleheader with Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Tri-State (Ind.) University today at Jannen Field in Angola. Behind a complete game pitching effort by senior Brad Dragicevich (Kalamazoo/Central) and a 16-hit offensive attack, the Comets won the first game, 8-1. The Thunder came back to win the nightcap, 15-3.

The Olivet College baseball team was swept by Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Adrian College this afternoon at Riverside Park in Adrian. The Bulldogs (12-9, 8-2 MIAA) won the first game, 5-3, and in the nightcap, they scored a run in the seventh inning for a 2-1 victory.

The Olivet College baseball team split a doubleheader with Albion College this afternoon in Olivet. In the seventh inning of the first game, senior Sean Howard (Charlotte/Potterville) hit a triple to score freshman Matt Smoker (Bronson) with the winning run as the Comets edged the Britons, 8-7. In the nightcap, Albion scored four runs in the 12th inning to beat Olivet, 13-10.

With two outs in the seventh inning of the nightcap, senior Nate Rann (Laingsburg) ripped a single to score senior Chris Shelhart (Rolling Meadows, Ill./St. Viator) with the winning run as Olivet edged the Hornets, 4-3.

Behind a complete game pitching performance by senior Brad Dragicevich (Kalamazoo/Central), the Comets won game one, 8-0. In the nightcap, senior Elliot Wilcox (Mattawan) pitched six innings as Olivet won, 4-1.
