Men's soccer team ends season with a 3-0 win against Adrian
The Olivet College men’s soccer team ended its season with a 3-0 shutout win over Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Adrian College today in Olivet.

The Olivet College men's soccer team ended its season with a 3-0 shutout win over Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Adrian College today in Olivet.
Playing in his final collegiate game, senior Michael Manning (Charlotte) put the Comets (7-13, 5-9 MIAA) on the scoreboard, scoring a goal off a pass from freshman Mike May (Mason) in the sixth minute. Olivet added another first half goal when junior Andrew Evans (Eastport/Petoskey) scored his first goal of the season in the 32nd minute. May also earned an assist on Evans' goal.
The Comets put the game out of reach in the 58th minute on a goal by freshman Robert Ching (Ovid/ Ovid-Elsie). Junior Graham Lockwood (Haslett/Williamston) received credit for an assist on the goal.
Olivet posted a 17-5 advantage in shots, including a 12-0 edge in shots on-goal. May took four shots, all were on-goal. Lockwood along with the Manning brothers, Mike and Matt, each had three shots. Sophomore keeper Ethan Felsing (Mason) played the entire game in goal, making zero saves.
With the win, the Comets finished fifth in the MIAA standings.
