By virtue of his finish, Meisner has earned honorable mention All-American honors.

Under the direction of fourth-year Head Coach Dave Stubbs, the Olivet College men’s swimming and diving team edged Hope College to capture the 2007 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship Feb. 8-10 at the Jenison High School Aquatic Center. In addition, the Comet women’s swimming and diving team finished in fourth-place at the MIAA Championships. Olivet tallied 254 points. Calvin won its third straight championship with 675.5 points, followed by Hope (493.5) and Kalamazoo (290).

The Olivet College men's swimming and diving team edged Hope College by nine points to capture the 2007 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships. The Comets scored 546.5 points, while Hope had 537.5 points. In addition, Shawn Bergman (Chelsea) was named the MIAA Most Valuable Diver.

Upon the completion of day two, the Olivet College men’s swimming and diving team continues to lead the 2007 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships. With 371 points, the Comets are 16.5 points ahead of Hope College entering Saturday’s final day of competition.
