Five personal bests for UOlivet men at Otterbein Twilight

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The University of Olivet men's outdoor track and field team tallied five personal best marks and seven season bests at the Otterbein (Ohio) University Twilight on Friday, April 18, inside the Memorial Stadium.
FOR THE COMETS
- Sophomore Deegan Bodell clocked-in with a personal best time of 16:26.05 in the 5,000-meter run.
- Sophomore Wanyai Johnson completed the 100-meter dash in a personal best time of 11.52 seconds.
- Two Comets – senior Kayden Shrock and sophomore Ben Gillesby – recorded personal bests in the 800-meter run at 2:01.17 and 2:19.09, respectively.
- Junior Anthony DeVito ran a personal best time of 4:47.99 in the mile run.
- Freshmen Luke Senters and Kutter Vanaken had season-best times in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 10:25.42 and 10:52.89. Senters' time moves him up to No. 6 in UOlivet history, while VanAken's time keeps him at No. 10.
- Freshman Tyreke Brown registered a season-best time of 23.00 seconds in the 200-meter dash.
- In the field events, freshman Yrral Campbell posted the second-best throw in UOlivet history in the discus throw at 151 feet, 9 inches.
- Freshman Losanene Dukuly notched a season-best mark in the shot put (31 feet, 3/4 inches).
- Freshman Mason Korn posted a season-best clearance in the pole vault (11 feet, 8-1/4 inches).
- Sophomore Peter Moore recorded a season-best leap of 40 feet, 5-3/4 inches in the triple jump.
- Sophomore Owen Fremeau finished third overall in the shot put (48 feet, 8-3/4 inches). The first- and second-place finishers in the event were unattached athletes.
- Senior Kameron Newman placed third in the long jump (22 feet, 6 inches).
