Olivet ties for seventh at Trine Kick-Off Classic

ANGOLA, Ind. – The University of Olivet women's golf team started the 2024-25 season by tying for seventh at the Trine University Kick-Off Classic this afternoon at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.

- The Comets recorded a 366 team score.
- The host Thunder shot a 325 team score to edge both Kalamazoo College and Indiana University-East by one stroke to capture the team title.
- Rylee Smith from Trine earned medalist honors with a two-over par 74.
FOR THE COMETS
- Senior Ella LaMothe: 84. Her round included nine pars to go along with six bogies and three double bogies.
- Sophomore Kyleigh Ramos: 89. She had Olivet's only birdie, a four on the par 5, 462-yard No. 5.
