UOlivet finishes ninth at MIAA Jamboree #1

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. –The University of Olivet women's golf team finished ninth at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #1, hosted by Calvin University and played at The Golf Club at Thornapple Pointe.

• The Comets recorded a 366 team score.
• First- and second-place was separated by one stroke, as Kalamazoo College edged Trine (Ind.) University 315 to 316. Hope College was third at 319, followed by defending MIAA champion Saint Mary's (Ind.) College, 324; Calvin, 328; Adrian College, 329; Albion College, 329; and Alma College, 343.
• Jacey Merkle from Kalamazoo earned medalist honors with a two-over par 74.
