The Olivet College wrestling team finished in third-place at the 2010 NCAA Midwest Regional, which was hosted by Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pa.
Led by three placers, the Olivet College wrestling team finished in 17th-place at the 2010 Midwest Classic Tournament, which was hosted Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 2-3, by the University of Indianapolis at the Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis.
Junior Vince Tucker (Clio) captured the 141-pound championship, as the Olivet College wrestling team finished in fourth-place (out of 11 schools) today at the 46th Annual North Central College Invitational in Naperville, Ill. For his efforts, Tucker shared tournament’s Most Outstanding Wrestler honors with Johnny Dillon of Wabash. In addition to his championship, Olivet three third-place finishes, two fifth-place finishes and one sixth-place finish.

In addition to Tucker?s championship, the Comets had one runner-up finish, two fifth-place, one sixth-place and two eighth-place finishes. For his efforts, Tucker was named the tournament?s Most Outstanding Wrestler.
The Olivet College wrestling team won eight-of-10 matches en route to a 33-6 win over University of Chicago tonight at the Ratner Athletics Center in Chicago. The win is the first for first-year Olivet Head Coach Brandon Brissette.
