A school-record 171 Olivet College student-athletes have earned 2019-20 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll honors.
Nine Olivet College student-athletes were recently recognized by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education as a 2020 Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar for their dedication to academics and athletics. Olivet’s honorees are Riley Bennett, Griffin Hammond, Liam Kinjorski, Kea Kunz, Karina Marin, Cameron Ramos, Yul Snell, Samantha Torres and Rachel Webb. Hammond, Kunz, Snell and Torres also earned this honor in 2019. To view the complete list of honorees, click here. The Olivet College wrestling team and 10 individual wrestlers have garnered 2020 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) academic honors.
ADRIAN, Mich. – The Olivet College wrestling team placed sixth of 18 schools at the 2020 NCAA Division III Central Regional, hosted by Adrian College at the Merillat Sport & Fitness Center.
ADRIAN, Mich. – Nine of 10 Olivet College wrestlers have advanced to day two of competition, as the Comets are in fifth-place at the 2020 NCAA Division III Central Regional, hosted by Adrian College and taking place inside the Merillat Sport & Fitness Center. The nine wrestlers have secured a top eight finish, the most in school history at the NCAA Regional.
CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. – Led by sophomore Owen Miller’s title in the 285-pound bracket, the Olivet College wrestling team placed second at the 2020 Mid-States Invitational, hosted by Wabash (Ind.) College and at the Knowling Fieldhouse.

The Olivet College wrestling team captured the 2020 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championship with a 24-13 win over Alma College tonight at the Upton Center Gymnasium. The Comets have now won three straight MIAA titles (1984, 2019, 2020) and 12 overall in school history.

The Olivet College wrestling team continued its pursuit of the 2020 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championship by defeating Trine (Ind.) University, 38-6, this evening at Hershey Hall in Angola, Indiana. With the win, the Comets secured at least a share of the MIAA title.
