2016 Olivet College Women's Cross Country News
Nine Olivet College athletics teams have received the 2016-17 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Team GPA award. This award is presented to conference teams who achieve a 3.300 or better grade point average for the entire academic year.
One hundred and nine (109) Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll for 2016-17. Olivet succeeded the 100 plateau for the fourth time in school history.
The Olivet College men's and women's cross country teams have received All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. In addition, junior Bruce Baker was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team.

The Comet men placed eighth, while the women were ninth. The field included 10 junior colleges, four NAIA schools and three NCAA Division III schools.
