UOlivet runs at IWU Twilight Invitational

MARION, Ind. – The University of Olivet men's and women's cross country teams ran today at the Indiana Wesleyan University Wildcat Twilight Invitational.
THE BASICS
- Location: IWU Cross Country Course; Marion, Indiana
FOR THE WOMEN
- Freshman Abby Dice ran the 6K course in Olivet's fastest time at 26:56.30.
- Junior Aubrey Connelly finished in 27:59.30.
- Senior Jamie Stiver completed the race in 28:21.50.
- Freshman Landry Gomez was next for the Comets at 29:07.50.
FOR THE MEN
- Junior Brendan Castillo was the first Comet to finish the 8K race, and he clocked-in at 26:41.30.
- Junior Deegan Bodell posted a career-best time of 27:29.40.
- Sophomore Luke Senters ran the race in a career-best time of 27:46.30.
- Junior Sam Bruinsma had a final time of 29:08.40.
UP NEXT
- Olivet is off until September 19 when it participates in the Lansing Community College Invitational at Grand Woods Park in Delta Township.
