The Olivet College baseball team lost both games of a non-conference doubleheader at Eastern Michigan University (EMU) tonight at Oestrike Stadium in Ypsilanti. After the Comets took a 4-0 lead in game one, the Eagles scored seven unanswered runs for a 7-4 win. EMU won the nightcap, 4-0.

Behind a complete game pitching effort by senior Brad Dragicevich (Kalamazoo/Central) and a 16-hit offensive attack, the Comets won the first game, 8-1. The Thunder came back to win the nightcap, 15-3.

Baseball team sweeps doubleheader with Kalamazoo, 8-0 and 4-1

The Olivet College baseball team opened its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) schedule by sweeping a doubleheader from Kalamazoo College this afternoon in Olivet. Behind a complete game pitching performance by senior Brad Dragicevich (Kalamazoo/Central), the Comets won game one, 8-0. In the nightcap, senior Elliot Wilcox (Mattawan) pitched six innings as Olivet won, 4-1.

Senior Brad Dragicevich (Kalamazoo/Central) pitched six shutout innings as the Olivet College baseball team opened its season with an 11-7 win against Emerson (Mass.) College today in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
