Ninety-two Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the 2007-08 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Academic (MIAA) Honor Roll.
The Olivet College men’s basketball team celebrated its 2007-08 season with a banquet April 20 inside the college’s Oaks Dining Room.
Three Olivet College basketball players -- senior Amy Brackenwagen (Grand Ledge), junior Brandon McClary (Bellaire) and freshman Michael McClary (Bellaire) -- have earned 2008 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) second-team honors. All-MIAA honors are based on a players’ statistics during league play.
The Olivet College men’s basketball team was defeated by Calvin College, 89-67, tonight in the first round of the 2008 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Tournament at the Knollcrest Fieldhouse in Grand Rapids.
