  • Eleven Olivet College athletic teams receive MIAA Team GPA award

    Eleven Olivet College athletic teams have received the 2018-19 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Team GPA award. The award is presented annually to the conference teams who have a 3.30 or higher cumulative grade point average for the entire academic year.
  • 116 Olivet College student-athletes named to MIAA Academic Honor Roll

    One hundred sixteen (116) Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the 2018-19 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll. Olivet succeeded the 100 plateau for the sixth time in school history.
  • Blouin named to NFCA All-Central Region First Team

    The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association batting average (.441) and slugging percentage (.793) leader, Olivet College senior shortstop Kinslea Blouin has added one accolade to her list of honors for 2019. The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has named her to the 2019 All-Central Region First Team.

    Olivet College senior Kinslea Blouin has been crowned the 2019 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association softball batting champion. In 16 conference games, she had 23 hits in 48 at-bats for a .479 batting average.

    Olivet College senior Kinslea Blouin and freshman Kaylee Clothier have been named to the 2019 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association softball teams. Blouin is a first-team selection, and Clothier is a second-team pick.

    The Olivet College softball team ended its season with two losses in a non-conference doubleheader against Roosevelt University this afternoon at The Ballpark at Rosemont in Rosemont, Illinois. The Lakers won the first game, 4-1, and then rallied to win the nightcap, 5-4, in nine innings.

    The Olivet College softball team was run-ruled in both games against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Calvin College today at the Gainey Athletic Facility in Grand Rapids. The Knights defeated the Comets, 10-1 and 11-1, in five innings.

    The Olivet College softball team won both games of a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) doubleheader at Kalamazoo College this afternoon at K College Softball Field in Kalamazoo. The Comets rallied to win the opener, 7-3, and hung on to win the nightcap, 6-4.

    The Olivet College softball team split a doubleheader with Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Hope College today at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet. Freshman Kaylee Clothier hit a walk-off two-run home run to lift the Comets past the Flying Dutch in the first game, 7-5. Hope salvaged the split with a 13-8 win in the nightcap.

University this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet. The Thunder won the first game, 6-2, and hung on to win the nightcap, 5-4.

The Comets shutout the Scots, 7-0, in the first game and rallied to win the nightcap, 7-5.

The Comets were leading the second game, 12-8, in the top of the seventh when the game was halted due to darkness.

    The Olivet College softball team defeated Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Adrian College, 12-8, in the second game of a doubleheader at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet. The Comets were leading the game when it was halted in the top of the seventh inning on March 29.

    The Olivet College softball team swept a non-conference doubleheader from Bluffton (Ohio) University today at the BU Softball Field in Bluffton, Ohio. The Comets won the first game, 12-3, in five innings and hung on to win the nightcap, 3-2.

    The Olivet College softball team had a 1-1 record at the second day of the 2019 North Park University Invitational inside the Holmgren Athletic Complex in Chicago, Illinois. After losing the first game 5-3, the Comets bounced back to score a season-high for runs in a 16-11 victory over the host Vikings.

The Comets beat College of Mount St. Vincent (N.Y.), 9-0. in six innings before defeating Juniata (Pa.) College, 4-1.

    The Olivet College softball team won two games at The Spring Games today at the Sleepy Hollow Sports Complex in Leesburg, Florida. In their first game, the Comets beat Newbury (Mass.) College, 9-3. In the second game, junior Gracie Boyle threw a complete game, two-hitter in a 1-0 pitchers’ duel victory over Wisconsin Lutheran College.

    The Olivet College softball team went .500 in its second day of games at The Spring Games inside the Minneola Athletic Complex in Minneola, Florida. The Comets fell to Keene State (N.H.) College, 6-3, before bouncing back to defeat Salve Regina (R.I.) University, 10-1, in five innings.

    The Olivet College softball team started its spring break trip to The Spring Games by splitting two games at the Sleepy Hollow Sports Complex in Leesburg, Florida. The Comets lost their first game 5-1 to University of Massachusetts Boston. Olivet then rallied to beat Wittenberg (Ohio) University, 6-5, in eight innings.
  • Softball team loses season-opening games at Legacy Center

    The Olivet College softball team lost its season-opening games today inside the Legacy Center in Brighton. The Comets fell to Madonna University, 19-11, and Cleary University, 11-1.
